Vitamin B5 is normally sold as pantothenic acid in the form of D-Calcium Pantothenate. However, the Pantesin® pantethine is an activated form of pantothenic acid. Pantethine is more easily utilized in the body to make Coenyzme A (a major mediator of energy metabolism) and, in doses of 600 mg per day, has been shown to help maintain normal blood cholesterol and triglycerides. Each capsule provides 300 mg of Pantethine from 546 mg of Pantesin®
